I printed them out and ordered some contest balsa to keep the plane light so that I could use a stock GWS EPS system for power...no brushlesses! Once I found some time to start building, the balsa part of building was done in only a few days...the quickest build for me yet because I was not constantly looking at an instruction manual. Being able to spend more time on the model and less on the instructions made everything come out straight, true, and almost perfect.
I impressed my brother with my skills and quite frankly impressed myself aswell.
I have finished the model...covering and all. It seems to have enough power to hover and go vertical on the EPS system. I also flew it for a few seconds but then crashed because ailerons were reversed. At least I know that it CAN fly and that it's got an impressive roll rate! The motor stick broke and the prop too but that was it...I havn't flow any more yet because I'm out of the right size prop. I will fly it very soon and write here about how it goes.
